This year is impossible to catch up with, even if it has been by all accounts approximately eight minutes long, but let’s start here:

The body didn’t cooperate enough to finish inking this on paper in time, so the printed copy has the digital version. In the meantime I thought it was worth completing the remaining few bits, so now I don’t know what to call it. An alternate version? A preparatory sketch? A “rough”? Yet in every sense the digital one was a rough for the paper version… The line got blurred a while ago anyway, and more often than not, I’ll realize halfway while doing a rough that it’s actually the final drawing.
